Decaying Soul Satchel is still a disgusting legendary when you get full value out of it, and the fact that you can now pair an extra legendary with it for more damage is pretty insane. Night Fae is far and away the best option for affliction warlocks in 9.2. Necrolord is a great option for pure single target, gaining an extra defensive cooldown in the form of Fleshcraft, and a slight boost to execute damage, which can be valuable in its own right in several encounters.īest Mythic+ Covenants for Affliction Warlock in Patch 9.2 The covenant legendary is slightly worse than other options, but retains viability especially when mutliple targets are added in. However, affliction warlocks have a very weird situation that they share with a few other classes. In any case, you'll just want to move them to the other available piece. With the addition of tier sets in 9.2, you might have to recraft certain legendaries to move them away from tier pieces. Note - The Raid Legendaries mentioned above is likely only for single target - It might be worth playing Night Fae if adds are prevalent in an otherwise single target fight.Īgain, very little tuning was done for Affliction Warlocks in 9.2 - no legendary tuning was added.
